- Mentoring and professional/leadership development for tenure-track, visiting, and tenured faculty, lab instructors, and department/program chairs
- Faculty development workshops geared toward specific career stages
- Colby-Bates-Bowdoin chair development programs
- Liaison to Baldwin Center for Learning and Teaching (BCLT), Council of Mentors (CoM), Office of Inclusion and Diversity (OID), Communications, McKeen Center for the Common Good, Self-Identified Faculty of Color and International Faculty (SIFoC_IF), NCFDD, Bowdoin student Government
- Faculty Development Committee (FDC) and Committee on Teaching and Classroom Practice (ex-officio)
- New Faculty Orientation and Incoming Chair/Director Orientation
- Faculty Writing Sessions
- Plays a non-evaluative role: Available for confidential conversations
